Our world is experiencing unprecedented change. Everyone has been impacted in some way. I lost my beloved Dad. My oldest daughter didn't get to go to her senior prom. Her high school graduation was very different than we planned. She went to college and spent her days in her dorm learning online. My younger daughter lost her volleyball season, lost her opportunity to get her driver's license on her 16th birthday, and the ability to just hang out with her friends. 

In addition to the pandemic, our country has been torn apart, our differences have created separation, misunderstanding and anger. 

We have been pushed. 

We have been challenged.

We all have our stories. Many are much more tragic and challenging than mine. But when disruption is forced upon us we have the choice to surrender to "learned helplessness" or triumph and grow stronger. My choice is to continue to grow. I have been eating Keto for awhile and it has brought me health and confidence and the opportunity to demonstrate my creativity through my recipes. I have been inspired to take photography classes. I am so fortunate to be able to express myself through my recipes, my photography and my words of support and guidance.
